  • Key identification features : Rhizome erect, covered by lanceolate scales at the apex. Stipes tufted, numerous, pale brown and scaly at the base, stramineous and glossy above. Lamina broadly or narrowly deltoid, bipinnate; pinnae upto 9 pairs, opposite, subopposite, alternate, oblong-lanceolate, base broadly cuneate, margin lobed four-fifth to the costa; spores with minutely reticulate exine.
