  • Key identification features : A small unarmed tree reaching upto 10 m height with a spreading crown. Leaves are alternate and twice compound. The flowers are small, greenish-yellow, fragrant and appear in dense terminal clusters. Pods are small, twisted and contain large quantity of tannin. Wood is used in carpentry.
